الكثيرُ منّا بعدمَا تجرَّع من مرارَة الخُذلان أصبح يبُوح بطلاسِمٍ لا يفهمُها إلا مَن عايشَها،
لا يُعبرُ عنهَا إلاَّ من ذاق شهوةَ الخُذلان، وانكسارِ الروحِ، وبعدمَا تعالَتْ صيحاتُ الخُذلانِ فِي مسامِعِنا، وتجثَّمَت دموعُ الخيبةِ علَى صدورِنا، نُنسِبُ لقلوبِنا جُرم السذَاجَة، ولأرواحِنا جُرم الهشَاشة، مُعلنينَ عَن توريثِ أرواحِنا، هُنَا تتقاسَمُنا أوراقَنا، ومعاطسُ أقلامنَا؛ فِي محاولةِ ترميمِ أرواحِنا المُنكسرة، تاركينَ أشلاءَ حكاياتِنا المُمزقةِ للأيامِ؛ فهي كفيلةٌ بردِّ اعتبارِنا وردُّ ما قد سُلِب من أرواحِنا المُبعثرةِ فِي مدينةٌ كانَ حاكمُها قَلبٌ سَذجٌ إنصاعَ وراءَ جَوهرِ الظاهِر غافلًا عَن ماهيةُ الباطِن، لتُباغتَه صَفعةٌ مِن الخُذلانِ تفْرُق شتَاتهُ، تاركةً إياهُ يُلملِمُ فِي أرواحِه المبعثَرةُ في مدينتِه بكَفافِ الأيّام؛ ليلقَى أقسَى جزاءً لسوءِ اختيارِه؛ مواجِهًا ضَجيجَ جَرحِه الذي لَم يكُن سببًا بِه سِوى ذاتِه.
