تحيك الأم مؤامرة بمساعدة الفتاة الأخرى وتنجحان بالخدام في تحطيم رباط الزوجية بين المتحابين. ولكن نجاحهما كان مؤقتاً. الرواية ملأى بالمفاجآت والعواطف الجياشة والمتناقضة، ستمتع القارئ وتجعله يواصل القراءة إلى أن يصل إلى النهاية غير المتوقعة.
