تدور الأحداث في مدينة قسنطينة (الجزائرية)، بأحيائها القديمة، تضمّنت القصص تفاصيل عديدة منها: وجود الأفاعي والأحصنة، وكذا عنصر الانتقال من مكان إلى آخر كالصحراء التي تناولت فيها الكاتبة قبيلة غجرية.
بلغت هذه المجموعة القصصية اللائحة القصيرة لجائزة "رونق المغرب في القصة (دورة 2019) وقد تم اختيار المجاميع القصصية الخمس من بين 15 مجموعة قصصية وصلت إلى اللائحة الطويلة بعد فرزها من بين 180 مشاركة من كافة الدول العربية
