ما دأبتُ على إخفائه كأنه سر الكون المكنون، وما واريته في ثنايا روحي كأنه كنز ثمين، أخرجه اليوم من مخبئه كما يُخرج الصائغ الماهر تحفته النفيسة. أنثره على صفحات الدهر بحروف من نور وكلمات من نار.
هذا البوح الذي طال حبسه كالماء خلف السدود، والذي ازدحمت به الضلوع كازدحام النجوم في السماء، أطلقه اليوم كسيل جارف لا يعرف السدود ولا الحواجز. أرسمه بريشة مغموسة في دماء قلبي، وأنقشه على صخر الزمان بأظافر شوقي.
ما كان يغلي في مراجل صدري كالمرجل على نار حامية، وما كان يتلوى في أحشائي كالأفعى الرقطاء، أخرجه اليوم زفرات حارة وآهات ملتهبة. أنثره على الورق كما تنثر الريح أوراق الخريف، وأسكبه على الصفحات كما يسكب الغمام قطراته على الأرض العطشى.
