يعتمد الابداع على الخيال واللعب والتلقائية فبدون هذه العناصر الثلاثة لا يمكن للمبدع ان يقدم افكارا او اعمالا مختلفة ومتنوعة او اصيلة أي ابداعية، لذا فان التعليم الذي يعتمد على التلقين ومن ثم الحفظ والاسترجاع يؤدي الى تنميط التلاميذ بينما التعليم الذي يعتمد على الابداع يؤدي الى تفريد التلاميذ اي ان كل منهم يتميز عن الاخر في تناوله للامور وفي حله للمشكلات وفي عرضه للمعلومات، ومن هنا كانت الدعوة الى تطوير التعليم والاهتمام بما يسمى بالتعلم الذاتي والتربية الابداعية، وانشاء الكليات الخاصة لتخريج معلمة رياض الاطفال لتكون معلمة مبدعة تستثمر الطاقة الابداعية الكامنة لدى الاطفال فتشجع الخيال والتلقائية واللعب الذي يؤدي الى تنمية طاقات التفكير الابداعي والتعلم الذاتي لتكون هذه الطاقات نواة التعامل مع المعارف التي يكتسبها الطفل في مراحل نموه التالية وبذلك يمكن ان نقدم للمجتمع افرادا مبدعين قادرين على حل المشكلات المعرفية والحياتية حلا ابداعيا.
