الدفلى نوع من أشجار الزينة التي تُزرع في الشوارع العامة والحدائق والمتنزهات لجمال أزهارها وتنوّع ألوانها وديمومة اخضرارها، ولكنّها تحمل في أوراقها مواد شديدة السُمّية التي تقتل كلّ ذي روح. أمّا السنوات، فهي تلك التي مضت من تاريخ الجرح السوريّ الذي ما يزال ينزف منذ نحو تسع سنوات إلى الآن.
هذه الرواية كتابة عن هذا التاريخ وفيه من خلال مجموعة من الشخصيات التي تنتمي إلى أكثر من الدفلى نوع من أشجار الزينة التي تُزرع في الشوارع العامة والحدائق والمتنزهات لجمال أزهارها وتنوّع ألوانها وديمومة اخضرارها، ولكنّها تحمل في أوراقها مواد شديدة السُمّية التي تقتل كلّ ذي روح. أمّا السنوات، فهي تلك التي مضت من تاريخ الجرح السوريّ الذي ما يزال ينزف منذ نحو تسع سنوات إلى الآن.
هذه الرواية كتابة عن هذا التاريخ وفيه من خلال مجموعة من الشخصيات التي تنتمي إلى أكثر من فضاء جغرافي واجتماعي في سورية، وعلى الرغم من أنّ معظمها يعمل في حقل وظيفي واحد هو التربية، ويبدو مؤرقاً بأكثر من شأن فيها وعنها، فإنّه، بآن، يتجاوز كونه تمثيلاً لفضاء مجتمعي بعينه، ليبدو، داخل الرواية، بوصفه تمثيلاً للمجتمع السوريّ على أكثر من مستوى ودلالة. ولعلّ أبرز ما يميز هذه الرواية ممّا سبق من نتاج كاتبها هو كونها سردية حكائية عن عالَم خبره المؤلف عن قرب بسبب عمله في الشأن التربوي لما يزيد على ثلاثة عقود، وفي أكثر من موقع من مواقع المسؤولية فيه، ومضافاً إليه تجربته في الكتابة الروائية التي بلغت إلى الآن خمسة أعمال حظيت جميعاً بتقدير القرّاء والنقّاد على حدّ سواء.
