أغلقتُ الكِتاب، فهذهِ النِّهاية، لا أعلمُ إن كُنتَ ستَراهُ أم لا فَلن أُرسلهُ لكَ يا عَزيزي؛ فَهذا السِّرُ سيُحرقُني وَحدي، سيآكلُ قَلبي أنا، وسنَتعفنُ بهِ سَويًا،
أحببتُكَ نعَم، وَصلتُ لكَ وأخبَرتُكَ بأنني بِجانِبك، مَددتُ لكَ كِلتا يَداي إلى أن بَترتَهُما، تَمنيتُ قُربك، أردتُ الإعتِراف، قَرأتُ الأبراج، آمنتُ بالتّاروت، أحببتُ عَرّافاتِ الحَي وفِنجانَ القَهوةِ في الصَّباح الذي تَقرأهُ لي عَجوزُ بِنايتِنا، أحببتُكَ بكُلِّ ذَرةٍ تَنتفِضُ الآنَ في جَسدي، لكِني لَن أصِلَ إليكَ أبدًا مادُمتَ لَستَ لي، سأكتَفي بكَ وَهمًا أزرعهُ على وِسادَتي مَساءًا، فتَمحوهُ دُموعي ليُنبِتَ زَهرًا في الصَّباح،
سيَكونُ اقتِرابكَ مني كابوسيَّ المُرعبِ الذي لَطالَما أردتُه، ستَكونُ صاحِبَ الظِّلِ الطَّويلِ في رِوايَتي، وسأُصبحُ كَ جودي أبوت التي تَنَتظرك، فلقَد اعتَدتُ الوَحدة وسأُكملُ وَحدي لا تَقلق، سأقرأُ رِسالاتِ السَّلامِ على قَلبك، وسأدعو لَك، لا تَخَف؛ فإنَّ اللهَ معَنا فلقَد زَرعكَ عَمدًا بقَلبي فأن لَم تَكُن خَيرًا سيَنتَشلُك.
