انتشرت أخبار وأنباء الأطباق الطائرة وحوادثها المثيرة في الآونة الأخيرة، بل وتزايدت بشكل واضح وملموس وأصبح من الواضح أن مشاهدتها قد غطت أنحاء عديدة من الكرة الأرضية. وبينما يشتد الجدل الدائر حول هذه الظاهرة المحيرة بين الخاصة والعامة، نجد أن هذه الأخبار والأنباء التي تتناول وقائعها أصبحت تتخذ بعداً أخطر من أن يتجاهله أحد.
إن تاريخ ظاهرة الأجسام الطائرة أو "الطباق الطائرة" (UFO) قديم قدم الإشارات التي ظهرت في تراث الشعوب القديمة مروراً بالعصور المتتالية وانتهاء بعصرنا الحالي. فالحضارات القديمة تركت قصصاً وآثاراً تشير إلى أجسام مجهولة طائرة تومض في السماء بسرعة خيالية. وقد نالت ظاهرة "الأطباق الطائرة" شهرة واسعة في العصر الحديث نظراً لأهمية حوادث ووقائع الأطباق الطائرة مع وجود شهود عيان من بلدان مختلفة عليها. وقد احتلن أخبارها الصفحات الأولى لمعظم الصحف المحلية والأجنبية كما احتلت النشرات الإخبارية.
وهذا ما يعني تحديداً وجود هذه الظواهر وحقيقة وجودها. ومن هذه الفرضيات إلى مجتمعات اتسمت بالغموض والكتمان الشديدين أثرت وما زالت على المجتمعات البشرية بالجريمة المنظمة أحياناً أو بالأفكار والآراء والمعتقدات المختلف عليها بين أبناء البشر أحياناً أخرى، لكن مع كل ذلك ستبقى أسرارها ألغازاً حول مرامها وأهدافها خصوصاً أنها تتعارض في العديد من تطرح مع كل رسالات السماء وتحاول إما تكذيبها أو تحريفها.
الماسونية وشهود يهوه خير مثالين على ظلامية الحركات الدينية أو السياسية أو الاجتماعية المعاصرة.
أما مجتمع المافيا فهو الجريمة والانحراف بحد ذاتهما، مجتمع لا يرحم فتل، اغتصاب، تجارة في كل المحرمات حتى بالإنسان، والمؤسسات الاجتماعية والسياسية والقضائية، في كل انحرافات المجتمعات البشرية تجد المافيا بكل صورها وأدواتها تاركة بصماتها.
حول هذه الموضوعات تدور مادة هذا الكتاب في محاولة لتحليل أسباب هذه الظواهر والكشف بالتالي عن أسرارها وخفاياها، وفيه أيضاً إجابات عن أسئلة عديدة جادة وهادفة لمستقبل البشرية هل نستطيع أن ننقل بيوتنا غدا للفضاء الرحب أو لأعماق البحار كي نسكن ونبني مدننا فيهما ونشكل فيهما مجتمعاتنا البشرية؟ الدراسات والأبحاث ما زالت مستمرة وترجح هذه الفرضية!
