وقد كانت تحب أمها.. رغم كل ما بينهما من خلاف ورغم الخناقات التى لا تنقطع بينهما فهى تحبها.. وتحبها إلى اليوم.. وأمها رغم كل ما حدث لم تكف عن محاولة تزويجها ولكنها لم تعد تدعو الخطاب إلى البيت إلا إذا وافقت نجوى.. ونجوى لا توافق.
وقد كانت أيامها تحب، الحب الوحيد فى حياتها، الحب الذى لا يزال ينبض فى عروقها حتى اليوم، ولكن.. هل هذا هو الحب؟.. هل ما كان بينها وبين عادل يمكن أن يكون الحب؟.. ومالت نجوى برأسها على مسند مقعد الطائرة وأغمضت عينيها وأخذت كعادتها تستعيد ذكرياتها مع عادل.. تستعيدها منذ يومها الأول.. كأنها قصة لا تمل من استعادة قراءتها.
