حسنا، لنهدأ جميعنا قليلا ولنتفق على أنني رجل مريض!
لا تكن وقحا، ألا يمكنك أن تتوقف عن النظر إلى السواد تحت عيني، وعلب السجائر التي تملأ المكان، معظمها فارغ في الحقيقة، نعم لقد استهلكتها كلها، لكن هذا لن يغيّر شيئا حول ما سأقوله، فتوقف عن التحديق هكذا كالأبله واستمع لما أقول قبل أن يأتي..
لا تلفظ اسمه، لا أحد له الحق في أن يسميه يوسف عداي أنا، سمّه أنت مرضا أو خللا أو انفصاما أو عبقرية، لكن إياك أن تدعوه باسمه!
إذن كنت أحاول أن أجعلك تفهم أنني رجل مريض رغم أنك تعلم ذلك من البداية، لكني لست مسؤولا عن ذلك صدقني، أنا كنت طفلا مثلما كنتَ تماماً، غير أن ظروف نشأتنا جاءت مختلفة، فأصبحت أنت مثقفاً تقرأ كتابي المحشو بالطلاسم معتقداً أنه رسائل أدبية، وأصبحتُ أنا عبداً ليوسف.
لم يكن من المفترض أن تصبح الأمور هكذا، لكنه خرج عن سيطرتي، لقد أصبح هو من يتحكم بي، فاستسلمت له مرغماً.
