انا الدكتور محمد تقي الكامل, عراقي الجنسية مقيم في دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة . حصلت على شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعة ليدز عام 1976 وشهادة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكيميائية عام 1973 من نفس الجامعة عملت في مجال النفط في العراق في الفترة 1976-1981. انتقلت الى جامعة البصرة ومارست التدريس الى عام 1997من ضمنها 6 سنوات رئيساً لقسم الهندسة الكيميائية. وفي عام 1997 كنت استاذاً زائراً في جامعة الامارات العربية المتحدة ثم انتقلت الى كليات التقنية العليا, وفي عام 2008 عملت في معاهد ابو ظبي للتدريب والتعليم المهني حيث شغلت منصب مدير الشؤون الاكادمية ومدير معهد الريف للامداد والعلوم التكنولوجية لحين التقاعد في نهاية العام الدراسي 2016-2017.

يغطي هذا الكتاب المفاهيم الاساسية لعلم ديناميك الحرارة على مستوى مناسب لطلبة الدراسات الاولية. وقد كُتب بنص ثنائي اللغة باللغتين العربية والانكليزبة في ذات الصفحة لمساعدة طلاب الهندسة في العالم العربي على فهم المبادىء الاساسية في علم ديناميك الحرارة. تشمل موضوعات الكتاب المفاهيم الأساسية لدرجة الحرارة والضغط وألانواع المختلفة من الطاقة؛ وكذلك خواص الموائع بما فيها عمليات الغازات المثالية. يليها العلاقة بين الشغل والحرارة ثم مناقشة القانون الأول والثاني للديناميك الحرارة وتطبيقاتهما, هذا بالإضافة الى شرح مفهومي الانتروبي والإكسيرجي.كما يتطرق النص الى دورات طاقة الغاز الغاز ودورات طاقة البخار بما في ذلك محطات الطاقة البخارية ودورات التثليج. واخير, ننظرفي موضوع خلائط الموائع وظاهرة احتراق الوقود.
