والرواية مقسمة لفصول وكل فصل يبدأ بتاريخ معين تحكي فيه ريم ما حصل لها في ذلك اليوم أشبه بكتابة الذكريات ، ويحكي بعدها سهيل بما حصل معه في نفس التاريخ ....
