هو مقال حول "ديوان النابغة الشيباني" بتحقيق الدكتور عبد الكريم إبراهيم يعقوب، كنت قد نشرته في مجلة مجمع اللغة العربية الأردني، في العدد 61 عام 2001، أضفت فيه أبياتا نسبت إلى النابغة الشيباني لم ترد في تلك المطبوعة، كما بينت صحة نسبة بعض المقطعات التي نسبت إليه في بعض المصادر، وما وقع في ديوانه من أوهام وزلل، وخطأ في الشرح، وجملة من الملاحظات الأخرى
