نبذة عن الرواية:تقوم الرواية على قسمين كبيرين، سماهما السنعوسي؛ "العهد القديم"، و"العهد الجديد". يأتي السرد في كل قسمٍ منهما على لسان راوٍ مختلف بين "عرزال بن أزرق"، و"منوال بن أزرق" على هيئة فصول صغيرة مقسّمة بدورها بين مذكرات السارد -الراوي- وبين هيئته الحالية التي يحكيها راوٍ عليم، ولكنّه لا يكتفي بذلك، بل يجعل في القسم الأوّل "مشروع رواية" لم يكتمل يسميه "نصٌ لقيط" وفي الثانية "نصٌ نسيب". وعلى هذا النحو يكسر "السنعوسي" إيهام القارئ بأن ما أمامه هو روايةُ عادية مألوفة، يتم القارئ قراءة فصولها فتتم له بذلك الحكاية، وإنما هو إزاء نصٍ جديد، وتجربةٍ مختلفة، يخوضها بين القراءة واستعادة القراءة مرة أخرى لاستكشاف هذا العالم والربط بين أجزائه وما ظهر منها وما بقي خافيا غامضًا، ذلك أنه سيكون إزاء روايتين في الواقع، يكشف بينهما ليس السارد هذه المرة، بل شخصيات الرواية نفسها التي تثور وتتمرّد على الحكاية لتروي الحكاية مرة أخرى في "العهد الجديد" بطريقةٍ مغايرة. حتّى تتكشّف له أبعاد الأحجية.
