تيرينتس ايغلتن ولد في 22 شباط 1943 في مدينة سالفورد وهو احد اهم الباحثين والكتاب في النظرية الادبية ويعد من اكثر النقاد الادبيين تأثيرا بين المعاصرين في بريطانيا وهو استاذ الادب الانكليزي حاليا في جامعة لانسيستر واستاذ زائر في جامعة ايرلندا الوطنية وقد كتب ايغلتن مايزيد عن 40 كتابا.. من بينها ايديولوجيا علم الجمال واوهام مابعد الحداثة ولماذا كان كارل ماركس على حق وفي عام 2 تيرينتس ايغلتن ولد في 22 شباط 1943 في مدينة سالفورد وهو احد اهم الباحثين والكتاب في النظرية الادبية ويعد من اكثر النقاد الادبيين تأثيرا بين المعاصرين في بريطانيا وهو استاذ الادب الانكليزي حاليا في جامعة لانسيستر واستاذ زائر في جامعة ايرلندا الوطنية وقد كتب ايغلتن مايزيد عن 40 كتابا.. من بينها ايديولوجيا علم الجمال واوهام مابعد الحداثة ولماذا كان كارل ماركس على حق وفي عام 2009 وضع كتابا يضم محاضراته عن الدين تحت عنوان "العقل، الايمان" حارس البوابة مذكرات يسلط فيها الضوء على مسيرته الحياتية والفكرية.
