ما هذا الشرود ؟ وما هذا الحزن في عينيه ؟ ها قطرات من الدمع تسيل تصنع لها مجراً على وجنتيه . ترى لماذا تجمع حزن الدنيا في عيني الرجل ؟ ولماذا كل هذا الشرود ؟ بدا وكأنه لا يحفل بأي شيء فيما حوله من جمال وكأنما لا يحفل بالحياة نفسها أتراه قد زهد فيها ؟ أضربات قاسية نالته منها أزهدته فيها ؟ لنقترب من ذلك الزاهد الشارد علنا نعرف ما حل به وما أصابه من ضروب الزمان .. ترى ماذا أصابه فتركه حطاماً من نظرة عن قرب لا يدري ما إذا كان يقظاً أم غائباً عن الوعي ، ها هو عن قرب انه رجل في العقد الرابع من عمره ولكن آثار الزمن على وجهه توحي بأنه قد تعدى الخمسن بمراحل يقف منتصب القامة يرقب الغروب ولكن هلى كان يرقب الغروب أم يرقب شيئاً داخل نفسه الحزينة ؟ لا بد وانه شارد في ما حل به من مصائب الزمان ولكن ماذا حل به ؟ وما الذي وصل به إلى تلك الحالة ؟ ترى كيف كانت البداية ؟
