"مني" كانت تسكن في شقة تطل علي البحر مباشرة والداها توفيا في حادث سيارة وهي في عمر العاشرة فجائت خالتها واخذتها للعيش معها في المنصورة وبعد عشر سنوات توفيت خالتها وهي في سن العشرين تقريباً فعادت مجددا الي بيت ابويها لتكمل باقي حياتها فيه ،كانت تحب مشاهدة الامطار وهي تهطل والغيوم وانعكاسها علي مياة البحر منظر يريح النفس ،ولكنها طوال الشهرين اللذان قضتهما في الاسكندرية لاحظت شيئاً غريباً ، شاب- خمنت انه مقبل علي ال٢٥ من عمره- كل يوم يجلس وحيداً ويبدو عليه الحزن يشرب قهوته تحت المطر الغزير وقالت في نفسها :الا يوجد من يهتم بهذا الشاب ؟ الا يخشي علي نفسه من المرض وظلت تسأل نفسها هذه الاسئلة لاسابيع.. حتي جاء اليوم الموعود.
