صدر عن دار روافد للنشر رواية الوهج والتي تعتبر العمل الروائي الطويل الأول للكاتبة والقاصة أماني خليل والذي أهدته لبنات هذا الجيل ونساؤه كما اهدته لمدينة الخليل مسقط راس جدها.. وكأن الاهداء يشي بحالة الغربة التي تدور حولها الرواية.. اماني خليل كاتبة وقاصة وروائية شابة من الاسكندرية تخرجت من كلية الاداب قسم التاريخ لها اعمل منشورة في عدد من الصحف والمجلات وفي مدونة شخصية بدأتها فيها السرد في عام 2006 .. وكواحدة من بنات جيلها تحكي الكاتبة ازمة هذا الجيل في علاقاته الشخصية وعلاقته بالسلطة والحيز المكاني الذي هو مدينة الأسكندرية في الرواية حيث ازمةالاغتراب الروحي وفقدان التواصل و هجرة الاباء انكسار الروح المد الديني الطاغي من ثمانينيات القرن المرتبط بعودة المصريين من دول الخليج, المظاهر العشوائية والسلوكية و من خلال ريم البطلة وعلي مستوي اخر حياة قاع المدينة من خلال العاملة سناء الرواية تمتد في حيز زمني من ثلاثينيات القرن الماضي حتي اللحظة الراحنة. شخوص الرواية جميعا يتحدثون في سرد شيق البعد التاريخي ايضا ضفيرة مع احداث الرواية التي تدور حول مجموعه من العلاقات المتشابكة والمعقدةبين شخوصها وبين هذه الشخوص وبين الماضي. اكذوبة التسامح التي تحيا فيها الاسكندرية والتطرف الديني وطأة الفقر التي قتلت في المدينة كل شيئ جميل
