Book Description
"الهُوَّة" عنوان ينتمي إلى الحقل المسرح بإمتياز، ويشكل مفتاحاً لولوج المشهد العربي المعاصر، أي التأشير على العلاقة الجدلية بين المسرح والحياة، وهذه العلاقة على جدليتها، فإن تثير القطب الثاني أي "الحياة" يبدو هو الأقوى، وقد أرادها المؤلف باسل بديع الزين لتكون بنية مناسبة لحضور ما هو مختلف ومتعدد أو متناقض، والغاية النهائية هي تقديم صورة كلية تضافرت على رسمها شخصيات مختلفة اجتمعت لتسخر من هذا الواقع الذي يكون فيه الإنسان العربي واللبناني تحديداً في حالة من التشويش أو (الإنتماء)، مثلما يكون (التعدد) من شأنه هنا - حسب النص - يوسع من دائرة الضياع وهذا ما حدث مع شخصيات المسرحية ذات الأيديولوجيات والمذاهب المختلفة، والتي جاءت بوصفها موجهاً دلالياً لحضور الحكاية / المسرحية.
من أجواء المسرحية نقرأ: "يبدو الغابر منهاراً إلى حدّ بعيد، تلوح في وجهه قسمات لا مفسرة، هي مزيج من اليأس واللامبالاة، لكأن الحزن لم يجد ما يستعيره من تفاصيل سيرته الجنائزية، فانقلب إبتسامة ساخرة، أمّا العابر فيبدو هادئاً جداً ومتزناً، يُشعل سيجارة... يدس في جوفه كأساً من النبيذ المُصفى... ويرمق صديقه بنظرة إحتقارٍ وعطف في آنٍ معاً.
الراوي: هو ذا العابر شاخصاً فوق أنقاضه في ارض حطّ فيها الرّحل وقالوا: أرض الشعر هو ذا يكتب... ربّما أعجبته نبوءة الأشياء وهي تتفجر كلمّا، وربما أيقظته حواسّ خفيّة آن لها أن تكشف عن نفسها، وفي مطلق الأحوال، كان لا بُدّ أن يكتب...".
تتوزع المسرحية على ثلاثة فصول تنطوي على مشاهد عديدة، جاء الفصل الأول بعنوان (الإرهاصات)، أما الفصل الثاني فجاء بعنوان (التحوّلات)، ويأتي الفصل الثالث والأخير بعنوان (المصائر).
