في سنوات الحرب السورية طرقت “بشرى الحمد” باب منزلي في ليلةٍ عاصفة، لم أكن أعرفها من قبل، طلبت أن تحيا معي أنا الذي اعتدت الوحدة والعيش على أطراف مجتمعي وأطراف القرية أيضاً، يصعب على من عرف انكسارات الحرب أن يقع في انكسارٍ جديد، انكسار الحب والشغف.
أنا “أحمد”، أو كما تسميني بشرى “أحمد العربي” مستحضرةً رمز قصيدةٍ شهيرة للشاعر محمود درويش، ربما سأصمد في معركة وسأصمد أمام الموت والرصاص لكن هل سأصمد أمام “بشرى الحمد” ابنة الشرق السوري.
رواية قصيرة عن الحب، عن الشغف، عن الموت وعن الانكسارات المتلاحقة، رواية عن بشرى السورية التي تستحق نصاً أطول بكثير، لكنها الحرب وكل ما فينا يمضي بسرعة مثل النزيف ومثل الدم الذي اختلط بالتراب وبأحلامنا اليومية.
