أول رواية تروى من عالم الغيب، هنا لا تدور الأحداث بين الأزقة ولا تحت أسقف المنازل، بل في يوم القيامة حيث يُستدعى "البطل" ليقرأ كتابه، ثم تُعرض عليه صحيفة رجلٍ آخر لقرأها. يتداخل الزمان والمكان، وتنبثق الذكريات من رحم المحاكمة الأخروية، في سردٍ دائريٍّ يطوِّق القارئ بأسئلة الوجود والحق، ويُسائل جوهر الإيمان: هل ما نعتقده حقًا ما أُريد لنا أن نعتقده؟ أم نحن نسخٌ مشوَّهة لإراداتٍ خفية، تمسخنا حين تُملي علينا ما نعبد وكيف نعبد؟
