تُعد رواية "الملحمة" للكاتب عبد الله قتيبة رحلة ملحمية تتجاوز مفهوم الحروب التقليدية؛ لتركز على صراع الوعي والحساب الذي يسبق الانهيارات الكبرى. تبدأ القصة بانهيار "الحاجز العظيم" وظهور "شرخ" في السماء ينزف ضوءاً وتاريخاً، مما يطلق قوى قديمة كانت نائمة لخمسة قرون.
أبرز ملامح الرواية:
• الطفل المعجزة: يظهر طفل غامض يمثل نقطة التوازن بين النور والظلام. هو ليس مجرد مفتاح للخراب، بل هو ساحة المعركة الحقيقية التي سيتحدد من خلالها مصير العالم.
• شخصيات محورية: يبرز "الرياس" القائد الذي يواجه خوفه، و"نايرا" المحاربة الطموحة، و"ساريون المنبوذ" الذي يعرف الحقائق المخفية، والجندي البسيط "كيلن" الذي يختاره الطفل ليكون صاحب القرار النهائي.
• فلسفة الإرادة: تؤكد الرواية أن الخراب الحقيقي يبدأ من داخل القلوب قبل أن يظهر في الواقع. وتتمحور نهايتها حول قوة الاختيار البشري، حيث لا ينتصر النور على الظلام تماماً، بل تصبح "الإرادة" هي الملك الجديد لكل شيء.
إنها رواية عن المواجهة مع "النسخة التي لا تتألم" من ذواتنا، وعن استعادة الإنسانية من خلال قبول الجراح والألم.
