هذا كتابنا (المسائل والبدائل) عرضنا فيه بعض المسائل الرياضية البديلة للمسائل التي وضعها الفقهاءُ في كتبهم الفقهية... كما أن كتابنا هذا يتطرق للتاريخ الذي كان يتبعه العرب ما قبل الإسلام، وكيف أنهم كانوا بارعين في معرفة النجوم وتحديد الفصول... كما يتطرق لموضوع تسمية الأشهر العربية بهذه الأسماء المعروفة.. وهي تسميات سُميت وفقاً لمعانيها الثابتة. فهم يتبعون توقيتاً موسمياً، وليس عائماً متحركاً؛ لذا وضعوا شهر الكبس.
نرجو من المولى سبحانه وتعالى أن يوفقنا لما يحبه ويرضاه.. إنه نعم المولى ونعم النصير.
تاريخ كتابة هذا الكتاب، تم في (2013م) على أوراق، كنتُ احتفظ بها في مكتبتي، ثم ارتأيت أن أنشره، بعد أن أضفتُ إليه بعض الإضافات بعد سنوات.. وها هو بينَ أيديكم بحلته الجديدة.. نرجو أن ينال رضاكم.. وإذا كان فيه نقصٌ أو إخفاق، فأنا بشرٌ اُصيب واُخطئ..
