والديوان يضم عدة أقسام أولها القسم السياسي الذي عبر فيه عن أزمة التاسع من سبتمبر 2001 وما ترتب عليها من أزمات، كما تضم بقية أقسام الديوان قصائد عن تجربة الاغتراب المحملة برؤية الشاعر للحياة كما أن المرأة دائمًا حاضرة بقوة في شعر ياسر يونس ويتضمن الديوان عددًا من القصائد العاطفية المعبرة عن تجارب حقيقية.
