كشفت كيتي بيري، رئيسة مصلحة السجون الإسرائيلية سابقا في تصريح للقناة 12 الإسرائيلية أن رئيس حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) في قطاع غزة يحيى السنوار ترجم كتابين لرئيسين سابقين لجهاز الأمن الداخلي (الشاباك).
ويتعلق الأمر بكتاب واحد ليعقوب بيري وعنوانه "القادم لقتلك"، والكتاب الثاني لكرمي غيلون، عنوانه "الشاباك بين الانقسامات"، ويتمحور حول الانقسام في المجتمع الإسرائيلي.
ومن أمام الزنزانة التي كان يحتجز فيها السنوار، قالت بيري إنه في إحدى عمليات التفتيش المفاجئة عثر على كتاب بحوزة السنوار، يعتقد أنه بخط يده، وتتراوح عدد صفحات الكتاب ما بين 500 إلى 600 صفحة، مؤكدة أنه كان يريد الترجمة للأسرى الأمنيين.

وتحدثت المسؤولة الإسرائيلية السابقة عن شخصية السنوار قائلة "كان من الواضح تماما أنه نوع من القادة الهادئين وذوي القوة الفصل"، وإنه "يقرأ إستراتيجية قادة الشاباك" ضمن قاعدة "اعرف عدوك".
