نجت مليكة، لكن أي ثمن دفعت؟ وكيف تنزهت في شوارع باريس ومراكش وميامي ونيويورك حيث كان الخوف ما يزال يعتمل في أعماقها؟ أية أحاسيس اعترت جسدها المحروم من اللذة طيلة عشرين عاماً؟ وكيف ستصبح أماً بعد أن فقدت قدرتها على الإنجاب؟ وماذا يسعها أن تقول لابنيها بالتبني نوال وآدم عن ماضيها؟ حرية أم حرية مريرة؟.
كتاب "الغريبة" هو قصة حقيقية عن كائن مريخي هبط إلى الأرض، وتتمتع فيه مليكة بالكثير من حسّ الدعابة ودقةِ الملاحظة وغصّة القلب، وحتى "مسٌ من الجنون" منحها في نهاية الأمر مكاناً مميزاً.
