يبحث هذا الكتاب في الجغرافيا البشرية عموماً ويتطرق على وجه الخصوص إلى موضوع الهجرة وتعريفاتها وأنواعها والآثار المترتبة من جرائها السلبية والإيجابية ذاكراً عوامل الجذب والطرد مركزاً على الهجرة الغير شرعية اليوم وأعداد المهاجرين، وكذلك الدول المهاجر منها والمهاجر إليها، وكذلك على الهجرة السريّة مع أعداد وجداول للهجرة القسرية من العراق وسوريا للعامين 2015 و 2016 ووجهة هؤلاء المهاجرين بسبب الحروب الدائرة جراء التهجير التي لم تعرفه البشرية في القرن الواحد والعشرين.
