تبدو الإشكالية الكبرى في عينية الصفات للذات عندما يواجه االباحث روايات من مثل: "نحن والله الأسماء الحسنى التي لا يقبل الله من العباد عملا إلا بمعرفتتا" فهو لن يجد -في ظرف ما أثبته من عينية الصفة للذات- إلى قبول هذا الحديث سبيلا، فيكون إلى: - المسارعة إلى إنكاره. _ أو تفسيره على خلاف دلالته الظاهرة. وفي كلا الاحتمالين تتحول الروايات من علامات تقــــــود المتوسمين للمقصد الحق إلى عوأرض يتم إزالتها أو تغيير وجهتها! وهذا منبع الخطر في طريق المعرفة التوحيدية؛ لأنه بدلا من ان نضع أنفسنا موضع المستدلين بالنصوص نظهر بمظهر الأدلاء الحاكمين، فنطرح من النصوص ما لا نجده متوائما مع ما تصورناه، واسسنا له، وإذا كان ذلك فسنواجه أزمة حقيقة على مستوى التوحيد العملي؛ لأننا سندخل منظومته باعتماد تصورات ظنية تتعارض، في كثير من مفاصلها، مع العقل والنص على السواء..
