وبعد
فإن معرفة الله بالتوحيد ، من أول الواجبات ، وأول دعوة المرسلين، وأول ما يحاسب عليه العبد يوم القيامة
ففيه أصل الخصومة ، بين الله وعباده ، ومن أجله خلق الله الخلق وأرسل الرسل وأنزل الكتب ، وأزلفت الجنان وسعرت النيران ، ونشرت الصحف ، ونصب الميزان
ومن أجله قامت الدعوة و شرع الجهاد، فأوريقت دماء وقطعت رقاب وذهبت أموال فلا شيء في الدين إلا وهو دونه ، فهو أصل الدين وأساسه ، والمقدم على كل فريضة وفوق كل تكليف
فإن أتى به العبد ربه يوم القيامة فقد فاز ونجا ، وإن أتى بغيره فقد خاب وهلك.
ذلك بأنه حق الله على العبيد ، فواجب على العبد ، ألا يتوانى في طلبه ولا يدخر جهداً ، ولا تسكن جوارحه ، أو تنام عينه ، أو يقر قراره ، حتى يتعلم مسائله ، ويتقن مداخله ومخارجه ، ويعرف مواطن الزلل، ومواضع الشبهات فيه والحمد لله رب العالمين .
