هذا الكتاب هو جَولة نقدية عميقة ومُوثّقة في فكر نيتشه، حيث تناول الكاتب جوانب متعددة من «فلسفته» مستخدما إزاءها مِعوله النقدي الفتّاك. والحَصيلة النهائية التي خلص إليها، هي أن فيلسوف زرادشت، عكس ما يُشاع حوله، لا هو بعقلاني ولا تنويري؛ لم يقتل الإله، ولم يَنقد الدين من منظور عقلاني، ولم يتملّص حتى من الفكر اللاهوتي. وقد أثبت الكاتب، بحشد من النصوص، أن فكر نيتشه مَبني على أرستقراطية رجعيّة، ويَختزن داخله حمولة خطيرة من القسوة والعنف والدموية لا نظير لها في الأدبيات الفلسفية. وقد رأى من واجبه أن يتصدّى لها بكل حزم، وأن يكشف خطورتها للقارئ العربي الذي ربما وقع تحت تأثير تأويلات هايدغر ودولوز وفوكو وريكور الرحيمة، المزوّرة. إذن، على القارئ العربي ألاّ ينتظر من هذا الكتاب مَدحا أو إشادة أو خنوعا أو تطْبيلا لفكر نيتشه الأرستقراطي العنيف، بل مَسحا نقديا كاسحا لأفكاره وأطروحاته ومواقفه السياسية، من الصفحة الأولى إلى الصفحة الأخيرة.
