يناقش الكتاب أحد الموضوعات الشائكة والجريئة التي يخجل البعض من الحديث عنها برغم من أهميتها ، فهو يدور حول البنات والمشكلات التي تواجهن وخاصة مشكلة الزواج ، ويتميز الكتاب بأنه يعرض لهذا الموضوع بأسلوب يجمع بين السهولة والبساطة أدب الحوار في نفس الوقت ، ويناقش الكتاب عدد من القضايا الهامة جدا التي تشغل تفكير أي فتاة حيث يتناول التجارب العاطفية التي تمر بها الفتيات وما قد ينتج عنها من مشكلات ، ويعرض الكتاب لمشكلة تأخر الزواج وأسبابه التي قد ترجع إلى أخطاء في التفكير من قبل الفتيات أو إلى تصرفات سيئة منهم تصرف عنهم الرجال ، كما يعرض حلول مقترحة لتلك المشكلة التي تؤرق الكثير من الأسر ، ثم ينتقل الكتاب إلى مناقشة قضية ساخنة وهى مظهر الفتاة حيث ينتقد إهمال الفتيات لمظهرهن وكذلك ينتقد المبالغة في الاهتمام بالمظهر والذي يصل إلى حد التبرج ، ومن القضايا الهامة التي يتناولها الكتاب قضية غاية في الخطورة وهي اختيار شريك الحياة ويقدم نصائح تفيد الفتيات عند الاختيار ، وبصفة عامة يتميز الكتاب بأنه ليس موجهة إلى الفتيات فقط ولكن إلى الوالدين أيضا
