كُتبت المقالات المجموعةُ بين دفّتي هذا الكتاب في الفترة الممتدّة بين سنتي 2009 و 2014 ، فكانت أوّل حِبرٍ يسيحُ على الورقِ من محبرتي نثراً صِرفاً، وأوّل لقاء لي بفنّ المقالة المُمعِن في الصّعوبة؛ الفن الذي لا يمنحك أقلّهُ حتى تمنحَهَ كلّ ما في كِيسِ قراءاتِك وما في مِخلاةِ زادِك. هي كتابات تركتها على صيغتها وصورتها الأُولَيَيْنِ دون إعمال القلم فيها لا بالإضافة و لا بالتهذيب، كالمومياء تُخرج من تابوتها لا تُمَسُّ إلاَّ بمشارطَ مُعقّمةٍ وقفّازات طبيّة.
متنُ الكتاب مكتوبٌ و مجموعٌ على السّجيّة لا على المنهج الأكاديمي، إذ ألحقتُ بالمقالات رسالةً و بضعة حوارات وقراءات هنا وهنالك، رامياً إلى رَفْدِ الحرف بالحرف والفكرة بالفكرة والمعنى بالمعنى، ففي آخر المطاف الفكر الإنساني كُلٌّ واحد وإن تعدّد لوناً وشكلاً، ولولا أن سبقني بهاء الدين العامِلِيّ لَوَسَمْتُ الكتاب بالكشكول... وليعذرني الأكاديميُّ الفاضل ، صاحب المنهج الصّارم، الخبير في الترتيب والتبويب على هذه الفوضى "الأدبية "، فلست مِمَّن وطئت قدماه الجامعة ، ولستُ ممن عرف ما تزعُمُهُ محاريبها وما تدّعيه، ولا بِدْعَ في أنْ يكون على الجاهل و على الغافل غُرْمٌ أو حريجةٌ أو مَعَرّة...
