"حلم رجل أنه يغادر مدينته ذات نهار في عاصفة تنحني لها الحقول وتنهض لمقدمها أعمدة يغزلها أمام قدميه التراب على حدود قرية تركب حافة الريح.. حلم رجل أن امرأة تحمل طفلاً بين ذراعيها غنت له أغنية كان يعرفها منذ طفولته ظل يرددها لنفسه وهو يقطع الصحراء كأنها ينبوعه الوحيد... لكن صوتاً في وسط الحلم أنذره وانسكبت ظلمة مفاجئة على البراري. حلق طائر من أحضان شجرة ظل غصنها المهجور يوميء في الهواء-زاد السكون حتى سمع الزمان ينسل على أطراف بستان يابس الأشجار بخفة الثعلب أو القطاة واهتز أديم الماء عندما انحنى ليشرب، ظامئاً، عليه.. أخذ النهر بعضاً من قسماته في دوائره وانتشل هو، الآن، براحته البقايا متعجلاً فالشمس ماثلة والعالم يستدرج ضياءها الباقي كنافذة سحرية تطل على الحدود حيث كان يحلم بأن يسير، وسار.
"سركون بولص" شاعر أساسي، تقرأ له بلغات عدة وهو يبرق في القصيدة، لغته واضحة وأفكاره نسجت بعناية لا تجد لها مثيلاً في الشائع من الشعر العربي السائد اليوم!
