رواية (الآخرون أيضاً) هي رواية سيكولوجية تتناول مسألة الفِصام الذي يُصاب به بطل الرواية (أسام) الذي يترعرع في بيت تكون فيه الأم معالجة للمصابين بالفصام حيث يتوافد كل يوم إلى البيت المرضى ليتلقّوا العلاج على يد أمه التي تشتهر بتفوّقها في العلاج بالأعشاب. وعندما تتصاعد به الحالة، يقرّر الخروج من البيت، ويتزوّج لعلّه يتغلّب على مفرزات تلك الحالة، لكنها تكون تجربة زواج فاشلة، فيذهب لتلقي العلاج لدى طبيبة نفسيّة، وتنشب بينهما علاقة عاطفية. تسلّط الرواية الضوء على عالم الفِصام والوساوس التي يُصاب بها البعض، وكذلك الجانب الشاعري في عاطفة المحبّة بين طبيبة نفسية ومريضها.
