تغسل "منى ظاهر" روحها بنور الجسد، وتغفو قليلاً كيما نراها تتعبد وحيدة في فيض العشق، فتمخر عباب الحبر بقارب الكلام المكسور، تبوح للحبيب والليل والقمر بأن الحب أغنيتها الوحيدة، وأنها فريسته.
"ثمة عسل لا ترتشفه سوى الأصابع"، فيا ليت عواء حريتي، تقول الفتاة أو المرأة، "للحوار ثوب جديد: الاقتراب إلى حد الالتصاق".
"منى ظاهر" تلتمس درباً جديداً في تناولها للموضوع، لذا أشرقت نصاً مفتوحاً على الغياب لكنه قد أسس لديها من الواقع، بحيث استطاعت أن تزورنا بنص نثري مبلل بالشعر، يسطو على حواسنا السبع، فكانت لا تومئ إلا قليلاً إنها صريحة إلى حد القول: "منذ لقائنا الأول تتسرب مني إليه: ذاكرة البصر، ذاكرة العطر، ذاكرة اللمس".
