آداب التثاؤب والعطاس : فالإِسلام رسم للمسلم طريقًا يسير عليه في جميع شئون الحياة، عظيمها وصغيرها، جليلها ودقيقها؛ ومن ذلك: أرشد العاطس والمتثائب إلى آداب يفعلها مصلحة له ولغيره، وحذره مما فيه مضرة عليه أو على غيره.
وفي هذه الرسالة بيان بعض هذه الآداب؛ لجهل كثير من المسلمين بأكثرها فكم مرة سمع إذا عطس الرجل وحمد الله وقيل له: يرحمك الله لم يعلم ما يقول فيرد بقوله: شكرًا! بل البعض يجهل ما يقول عند العطاس، وكيف يشمت العاطس. وأما التثاؤب فقلَّ من الناس من يكون فيه على نهج النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فكم من متثائب بقي فمه مفتوحًا بل البعض يخرج صوتًا مع تثاؤبه، وفي هذا تفويت الأجر العظيم من الله تعالى على المسلم؛ لترك سنة الرسول - صلى الله عليه وسلم -.
