يعتبر الكاتب أن التوقع العلمي موجود في كل العلوم قاطبة ويستند على أسس علمية قوية وهو يختلف شكلاً وموضوعاً عن الإخبار بالغيب بمعناه القدري (أي الاخبار بمشيئة الله التي ستحدث في المستقبل .." ولا يملك إنسان في الدنيا أن يعرف لنفسه ماذا سيحدث له غداً ..." وهكذا "... إذا استعرضنا علم الفلك ومكوناته من بروج ونجوم وشموس وكواكب وأقمار وتأثيرها على سلوك الإنسان وصحته وعلاقاته وإيمانه بالله الواحد الأحد خالق الكون ... إن كل حركة وكل نفس وكل لمحة .. إنما تخضع لقوانين فلكية صارمة ومحددة صاغها الله سبحانه وتعالى بحكمة واقتدار...".
