هذا الكتاب يحمل إهداءً مليئًا بالمشاعر العميقة والإعجاب الكبير لشخصية محورية في حياة المؤلف، وهي والدته. يعبر الكاتب عن مدى حبه وتقديره لوالدته من خلال كلمات مليئة بالدفء والحب، مشبهًا إياها بمصدر السعادة والحنان في حياته. كما يشير إلى التضحيات الكبيرة التي قدمتها والدته من أجل سعادته ونجاحه، ويصفها بأنها ملكة النساء، صاحبة الحضن الدافئ والعينان اللامعتان التي تحمل في طياتها جميع معاني الأمان والراحة
