أمام كل هذا وغيره وجدت أن من ضمن حقوق هذه الأم، ومن البر بها ومن الواجب لها أن أكتب عنها، ليعرف الناس عظيم قدر الأمهات، وليتعرفوا على نموذج متميز من الأمهات العظيمات القدر والمكانة، لهذا قمت بكتابة هذه السلسلة من الحلقات عن حياة أمي، من تاريخ ميلادها إلى أيامنا هذه، إلى لحظة الفراق الأبدي (الموت)، وكيف أنها عاشت حياتين مختلفتين تماماً، حياة المدينة الكبيرة العريقة المرفهة والمترفة (دمشق)، وحياة القرية البسيطة القاسية (يبنا)، ومع هذا صبرت وصمدت وتحملت وأقامت بيتاً وحياة وأنجبت أولاداً وبناتاً، وكانت نموذجاً رائعاً يضرب بها المثل على الصبر والتحمل والعطاء.
حاولت في هذه الحلقات أن أنقل وأسجل كل لقطة وموقف جميل ومشرق في حياة أمي وعائلتي، وتجنبت ذكر وتسجيل أي موقف أو حدث فيه تعكير للأجواء، مع أن الحياة لا تخلو من صفو وكدر، من لحظة فرح وحزن ومن موقف مؤلم ومحرج، فأنا أردت من سرد الأحداث أن تكون حافزاً لكل خير، مليئة بالأمل، ولم أنس ذكر ما جرى على شعبي من مظالم ونكبات وحروب.
أدعو الله أن يقبل مني هذا العمل الأدبي، وأن يجعله في ميزان حسناتي وآبائي وكل من له حق عليّ، وأن ينفع بها القراء.
