Nothing is "white" in "the White Salve" !!! The Palestinian diaspora is symbolized and summarized into an endless, tragedy of the life of a chattered Palestinian family who was expelled from Kuwait after the Iraqi invasion and come to settle in Lebanon.
The tragic experiences of a broken family is being narrated by Bamboo-the author himself-who was jailed "hell-like" prison in the USA called Hardee where he learns the hard side of the American life. The prison life is infested with dope, home-sexuality, brutality, "fake-Islam", and most dangerously, the still-burning racism between whites and blacks, Bamboo learns two hard lessons in Haedee; blacks are not good and racist; and to survive in prison you have to fight for your life and "save your ass".
The author, as a Palestinia, finds himself mistreated wherever he goes: from Kuwait, to Jordan, to Syria and finally to Lebanon where he finds himself jobless, unwanted by his ever fighting parents, and spents his life swimming and driving aimlessly his dad’s car.
"The White Slave" takes us to two conclusions: that a "Palestinian holocaust" is being committed around the globe, especially in the Arab World; and that American is still racist more that we can imagine.
