TAREK BIN ZIAD was the companion of Moussa Ben Nusseir, the descendant of al-Manathira Dynasty in Hira.
He joined the ranks of Mujahideens and was ordered by Moussa to cross the strait known at present as Gibraltar, in view of what he saw in him of bravery that no other possessed. From Gibraltar he continued his march at the head of his troops and occupied Andalusia in which Arab Canaanites settled and prospered since ancient times. He succeeded in his mission and elicited the admiration of Andalusians before Arabs for his noble character.
