جمع هذا الكتاب قصص الأنبياء كلهم بأسلوب شائق أخاذ، وعرض جديد مميز، لذا ليس حظي هذا الكتاب بشهرة واسعة و تداول كبير بين القراء على اختلاف مستوياتهم و تباين ثقافاتهم. ومنهج الكتاب سهل بسيط، عمد إلى ذكر الآيات القرآنية الكريمة التي تتحدث عن كل نبي قبل أن يشرع بالحديث عن حياته و أطوارها، وقته مع القوم الذين بعث لهدايتهم. كما قسم كل بحث من الأبحاث إلى فقرات وخص كل فقرة بعنوان يتناسب مع مضمونها. ثم أشار إلى الآيات القرآنية الكريمة المرتبطة بتلك الفقرة. و ذكر ما ورد في التوراة والإنجيل عن قصص النبيين. وقدم الكتاب بثوب جديد، وفق الخطة التالية: حذف كل تصور لا يتفق مع القرآن الكريم، وتثبيت ما وافقه، إذ لا معول على قصص الأنبياء إلا على كتاب الله الذي لا مراء فيه. تم تهذيب أسلوب الكاتب دون الإخلال بعباراته. لم يتطرق لرأي الكاتب الخاص فيما لم يذكر في كتاب الله الكريم.حذفت من الكتاب المسائل الخلافية. حذفت من الكتاب أبحاثا ليس لها علاقة بقصص الأنبياء. حذف من الكتاب النقد الذي وجه للمؤلف و رد المؤلف على ذلك النقد. رتبت بعض القصص والأحداث لتكون متزامنة في إطارها السردي والقصصي، حذفت الإستطرادات التي فيها تشتيت للقارئ وتقريبا للكتاب إلى منهج البحث العلمي.حذفت الحكايات والأخبار المأخونة من مصادر لم يقطع بصحتها ويجزم بحدوثها. حذف من الكتاب ما اختلف به المؤلف مع غيره من المفسرين.
