عقوق الوالدين : إن بر الوالدين مما أقرته الفطر السوية، واتفقت عليه الشرائع السماوية، وهو خلق الأنبياء، ودأب الصالحين، كما أنه دليل على صدق الإيمان، وكرم النفس، وحسن الوفاء.
وبر الوالدين من محاسن الشريعة الإسلامية؛ ذلك أنه اعتراف بالجميل، وحفظ للفضل، وعنوان على كمال الشريعة، وإحاطتها بكافة الحقوق.
