المقدمة:
تعد تعرية المائية (Water Erosion) من العمليات الجيومورفولوجية الخارجية التي تترك آثاراً واضحاً على أشكال سطح الأرض ، من خلال عملها على تغيير معالمه وبشكل مستمر وبدون توقف ، وتحدث هذه الآثار بدرجات متفاوتة بحسب القوة المسببة لها وللبيئة التي تحدث فيها سواء أكانت جافة ام رطبة ، فتنعكس آثارها في النشاط البشري في المناطق التي تتعرض لها ، من خلال إضعاف التربة وتقلص المساحات الأرضية وتدميرها ، ومن هنا تعد التعرية إحدى المشاكل البيئية الخطيرة التي تواجه العالم حالياً ، إذ يقصد بها تأثير مجموعة من العوامل المؤثرة في فقدان التربة للطبقة السطحية ، فضلاً عن التباين المكاني لآثارها الإيجابية والسلبية.
وفي هذا المجال أكد (Laflen And Roose) على أن تدهور التربة بواسطة التعرية المائية من أكثر المشكلات البيئية التي تهدد نوعية التربة ومصادر المياه المتاحة ، والأراضي الزراعية في مختلف بيئات العالم ، وللإشارة إلى فاعليتها وقع الاختيار على تربة حوض وادي بريشو موضوعاً لدراستنا . يعد استخدام المعادلة العامة المعدلة لفقدان التربة أحد أهم النماذج التطبيقية التي استخدمت في تقدير كميات التربة المفقودة بالتعرية المائية ؛ لان مفردات هذه المعادلة مستقاة من العوامل الرئيسية التي تؤثر في التعرية ، وهي: (عامل تعرية المطرية - عامل قابلية التربة للتعرية - عامل الطبوغرافيا - عامل الغطاء النباتي - عامل صيانة التربة من التعرية) حيث يمكن الحصول على كمية التربة المفقودة بعد تقدير قيم هذه العوامل وتطبيقها ضمن المعادلة ، ويعد قياس فاعلية من خلال الشبكة التصريفية ، أحد المعايير المهمة التي لجأ اليها الجيومورفولوجيون ، من أجل الحصول على صورة واضحة عن مدى تأثر المنطقة بعملية التعرية وأشهرها معادلة (Bergsma) ، التي تصنف مدى خطورة التعرية المائية إلى سبع درجات حسب شدة التعرية.
