يقوم بارادايم التداوليّات الاستدلاليّة على اقتراح القوانين المفسّرة لمقاصد الرسالة التي ينشئها المتكلّم عبر الاستدلال باعتباره مكوّنًا أساسًا في سيرورة التأويل التداوليّ بغية وصف الانسجام المنطقيّ للخطاب وتفسيره، وبيان كيف يُنتج الاستدلال أكثر ممّا تحتويه رسالة المتكلّم المشفّرة لسانيًّا . أمّا الاختلافات المنهجيّة الواقعة بين المقاربات المختلفة داخل هذا البارادايم فهي لا تتجاوز عدد هذه القوانين من ناحية، وأنماط التأويلات التّداوليّة التي يفترضها الباحثون عمومًا، أو لمعالجة حالات بعينها، من ناحية ثانية، دون أن تُؤثّر على التركيز الجوهريّ لهذا البارادايم المتمثّل في الفصل التّام بين الشفرة الدلاليّة والاستدلال التداوليّ؛ أي: الفصل بين مجالَي اشتغال الدّلالة والتداوليّات.
