تعد أسرة الأليراميسي Alyramici المونفراتية واحدة من أبرز الأسر التي جذبتها الدعاية الصليبية، حيث توافر لديها مقومات الحرب تحت راية الصليب، لما تمتعت به من نفوذ وسلطة، فقد حكمت منطقة مونفرات Montferrat بإقليم بيومنتيPiemonte بشمال إيطاليا من عام 935م./323هـ.حتي عام1305م./704هـ.، وهو ما أوجد لها مكانًا بارزًا بين الأسر الحاكمة في أوربا فأهَّلها لإقامة العلاقات المختلفة مع كبار رجالاتها.
وتتبعت الدراسة دور أسرة مونفرات في الصراع الصليبي الإسلامي منذ اشتراك وليم الخامس أف مونفرات William v of Montferrt في الحملة الصليبية الثانية وتحديدًا من يونيو سنة 1147م./المحرم سنة542هـ.، حتي سنة1212م./609هـ. بوفاة آخر أفراد الأسرة، وهي: مارية أف مونفرات Maria of Montferrat (1205-1212م./ 601-609هـ.)، وتتبع الباحث ظلال هذه الأسرة والوجود الصليبي لها في منطقة الشرق الأدني الإسلامي حتي عام 1268م./667هـ.
