سماح خليفة كاتبة وشاعرة وروائية وباحثة أكاديمية، ولدت في مدينة طوباس-فلسطين في 1978، حاصلة على: ماجستير في نقد الأدب الحديث/جامعة النجاح الوطنية، بكالوريوس في الأدب العربي من جامعة النجاح، دبلوم تأهيل تربوي من جامعة القدس المفتوحة، إجازة في تجويد القرآن وترتيله من أوقاف نابلس، العديد من الدورات في أدب الطفل والمرأة القيادية.
صدر لها: دليل "التعلم النشط" في قواعد اللغة العربية للمرحلة الوسطى- ثلاث قصص للأطفال (أمل والبحر، أمل والاقصى، عودة أبي) - ديوان (أبجديات أنثى حائرة) - رواية "نطفة سوداء في رحم أبيض" - طوباسيوز، يوميات طفلة الانتفاضة- خمس كتب نقدية:
* أسطرة الأسطورة في شعر آمال رضوان، ديوان "أُدَموِزُكِ وتَتعشتَرين" نموذجًا.

إن توظيف الأسطورة في الشعر الجاهلي كان منمازا بشكل كبير، فقد مثل علاقة الجاهلي بالكائنات، وتفاعله مع طبيعة بلاده الصحراوية، فقدس الحجر والشجر والحيوان، وكانت الطبيعة الام الكبرى مصدر إلهامه، وآرائه وأفكاره في الحياة، وبالتالي معبوداته، لانغماسها في الدين، فكانت ملهمته في الشعر والادب، وشكلت رصيده الفكري والذي تركز في مجمله حول المرأة والطبيعة مصدر الخصوبة، وأصل الخلق وديمومته. ومن هنا كان التشبيب بالمرأة له أصول ضاربة الجذور في أساطير العرب قبل الإسلام بزمن. وإن التغزل بسلمى، وسعاد، ولبنى، وأم عمرو، وغيرهن، إنما هو ترميز لآلهة كانت تعبد في الجاهلية الأولى. كما تعد المرأة المكون الأساسي في القصيدة الجاهلية، وهي الملهم الأكبر في تكوين أغراض القصيدة وصورها، ويتجسد هذا المكون في عملية إبداع خلاقة، قد تكون واعية، وقد تكون غير واعية، وبناء على ذلك ارتأت الباحثة أن تسلط الضوء على قصيدة من العصر الجاهلي تماهت فيها الأسطورة، فكانت مخزونا للجمال الأسطوري الانثوي، والإلهة المعبودة، وفق تصور الإنسان الجاهلي في ذلك الحين، ألا وهي قصيدة الأعشى "أوصلت صرم الحبل من سلمى لطول جنابها"
