فى كنيسة القديسة مارجريتا كانوا يصلون ويتلون أناشيد دينية وبعد العشاء فجأة سمعوا صوت ضرب نار بالليل . وأمسك القسيس بندقية فى يده وأخذت النساء تصلى بالصليب وهن يتلصصن السمع بينما كانت الكلاب فى الخارج تنبح بشدة. ثم سمع صوت رصاصة أخرى بالخارج.
- وصرخت الراهبة بحق المسيح ومريم ماذا يحدث هناك ؟
- وقال لها القسيس ووجهه شاحب اسكتوا جميعا! دعونى اسمع ما بالخارج. ووقف خلف النافذة وكان يسمع بالخارج صوت الكلاب وصوت الرياح. ثم اشتد نباح الكلاب اكثر من الأول ثم سمع صوت طرق على الباب بحجارة.
- وصرخ القسيس قائلا لا تفتحوا الباب لأحد. وكانت يديه ترتعشان ثم سمعوا صوت ينادى من خلف الباب قائلا افتح ايها القسيس انا سورفادو. وفتحوا له وكان وجهه مظلم وشاحب. وسأله القسيس وهو مرعوب ماذا حدث ؟
