Book Description
جلست على طرف فراشِها تحلُّ عقدة القماشة الزرقاء فتناثرت من بين أصابعها بعض حبَّات اللؤلؤ على أرض الغرفة.
لملمتها -في وجلٍ وإشفاق- في كفها ووضعتها داخل لفافة القماش بحنان وكأنها تضع رضيعًا في مهده، ثم سحبتْ صندوقًا خشبيًا بديعًا عليه نقوش جميلة، قِفْلُ الصندوق وحده يبدو تحفة فنية رائعة. أمسكته بعناية ومسَّدته وكأنها تمسِّد بشرة طفلٍ صغير، ثم فتحته بعد أن بدأت ملامحها الرقيقة تتغير وتشي بالكثير من الحنين إلى الماضي، وسحبت من داخل الصندوق شيئًا ما برهبة وخشوع.
