ترتبك، تحاول أن تخبئ رسائلها التي تخفي من بوحها الكثير والكثير، تسرع الخطى، وقبل أن يدخل عليها حجرتهما يجدها تقف أمامه. وببرود شديد تحادثه:
ماذا تريد؟؟
يبادرها بسؤاله المعتاد:
ماذا كنت تفعلين؟؟
تجيبه بهدوء مصطنع:
لا شيء، أنتظرك كعادتي.
اجلسي، لدي خبر ما.
تنظر له بشيء من عدم الارتياح، تحادث نفسها "متى ستنتهي منه؟"، ينتزعها من صمتها بخبر يظن أنه سيفرحها كثيراً، لكنه في حقيقة الأمر سيزيدها بؤساً!!
ليرمقها بنظرات وقحة تفهمها هي جيداً، لكنها لن تستسلم، ليس هذه المرة... تعد نفسها، يتركها ليذهب للاستحمام، لتدخل غرفتها، تخرج كل الرسائل، تضعها على الأرض في دائرة مفرغة من أي حل ينقذها، تقطعهم أشلاءً، وبيد واحدة تنثرهم في الهواء، كما لو أنها طفل صغير يطير "عصافير الجنة" لتجلس بينهم، ومن ثم تنتحر، ليخرج هو فيفجعه المشهد، دماء في كل زاوية، يقترب منها، يلتقط ورقة تحتضن يدها يقرؤها ليعصف به الذهول، فالورقة مكتوب فيها....
